Service Description
House of Motion Entertainment ("HOME", "we", "us") operates a music production and content studio in Doha, Qatar, offering DJ set recording, DJ practice time, photography, and DJ booking services (Sir Markus and other partner artists), booked through this website.
User Obligations
When you submit a booking request or inquiry, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current contact and booking information
- Arrive for confirmed sessions at the agreed time, or provide reasonable notice of changes
- Follow studio rules and equipment guidelines communicated by HOME staff on-site
- Use the studio space and equipment only for the purpose booked
Prohibited Uses
You may not use HOME's services to:
- Produce or distribute unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content
- Damage, tamper with, or remove studio equipment without authorization
- Submit fraudulent booking requests or impersonate another person
- Attempt to access the admin booking queue or backend systems without authorization
Booking & Payment Terms
All booking requests submitted through /book or /book-dj are subject to manual review and approval by HOME staff — a submitted request is not a confirmed booking until you receive an approval confirmation email. Indicative pricing shown at request time may be adjusted on the final invoice to reflect admin and cleaning fees, or quote-based services confirmed after review. Advance payment may be required for certain bookings.
Cancellation / Refund Policy
Cancellations or rescheduling requests should be sent as early as possible to homeenterprise100@gmail.com. Refund eligibility for paid sessions depends on notice given and is confirmed case-by-case at the time of booking.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, House of Motion retains ownership of raw and edited recordings, photography, video and other content created during a studio session. Deliverables licensed or transferred to the client are as specified in your booking confirmation or a separate written agreement.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, House of Motion is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services, including equipment malfunction, scheduling changes, or delays outside our reasonable control.
"A contracting party is not liable for damages related to force majeure and unforeseen cases." — Qatar Civil Code, Article 204
Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: acts of government, natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemic, internet service failure, or force majeure as defined under Qatar Civil Code Article 204.
Minors
Our general booking services are intended for users 18 years of age or older. Where a booking or program (such as the First Five pilot) is open to participants under 18, explicit parental/guardian consent is required before that participant's data is processed, per Qatar PDPL Article 8. See the relevant program's dedicated consent page for the specific parental-consent flow.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. For local disputes, the Qatar Courts have jurisdiction. For international clients, we recommend arbitration under the Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre (QICDRC):
"Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this contract shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration administered by [institution] in accordance with [rules]. The seat of arbitration shall be Qatar. The language shall be English. The Competent Court shall be the First Instance Circuit of the Civil and Commercial Court of the Qatar Financial Centre."
